The U.S. sinks 3 boats for the Houthis and kills 10 of the group’s members

About a week ago, American forces killed 10 members of the Houthi group in the Red Sea by targeting them with aircraft and sinking 3 boats belonging to the armed Yemeni group.

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) responded to the incident at the time, stating that Houthi boats attacked a commercial ship and U.S. Navy helicopters south of the Red Sea, after a container ship belonging to the “Maersk” company issued a distress call reporting an attack.

The command mentioned that Houthi boats fired at the ship, approached it, and attempted to board it. However, American helicopters responded to the distress call, and the Houthis opened fire on them. The helicopters retaliated by firing back, sinking 3 boats, and killing their crews.
