Watan-The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, released a video showing their fighters engaging Israeli occupation forces in the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Another video depicted the targeting of the town of Ashdod with rockets in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The footage documented the deployment of Al-Qassam elements and their clashes with Israeli soldiers and vehicles in the Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza. The video showcased human and military losses inflicted on the occupation on the 100th day of the Israeli war on Gaza.
The scenes captured the moment of targeting the “D9” bulldozer in collaboration with the Al-Quds Brigades, revealing seized Israeli vehicles and weapons after eliminating their crews.
Gaza Envelope Targeting
Another video documented the Al-Qassam Brigades shelling of the town of Ashdod in the Gaza envelope with a barrage of “Mqadmah M57” rockets. The resistance stated that this was a response to Zionist massacres against civilians in the Palestinian territories.
The second video, titled “100 Days of Battle, Ashdod under the Line of Fire, and We Have More,” showed footage of rockets before and after launching towards the settlement of Ashdod.
On the other hand, the “Martyr Omar Al-Qassem Forces” announced the targeting of an infiltrating military vehicle on the Al-Maghraqa axis in southern Gaza with a “Tandem” shell, causing a direct hit.
Abu Ubaida, the spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, made his first audio-visual appearance since November 23rd of the previous year. In a speech broadcasted by Al-Jazeera on 2024, more than three months into the Israeli war on Gaza, he stated, “We have inflicted heavy losses on the enemy, and we continue to inflict significant losses exceeding those incurred on October 7, 2023. We targeted and disabled 1000 Israeli military vehicles in the Palestinian territory over 100 days.”
The Al-Qassam spokesperson added, “The enemy’s arsenal and weapons targeted by us are from the military industry of the Al-Qassam Brigades, and the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa is the battle of the Palestinian homeland, where the people and the resistance fight in one trench.
