Al-Qaradaghi calls for the protection of relief ships heading to Gaza
Al-Qaradaghi calls for the protection of relief ships heading to Gaza and urged countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea to protect these ships until they reach Gaza.
He explained that the Union has played a significant role in defending the rights of the Palestinian people and condemning the daily crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the people of Gaza since October 7th of last year.

Al-Qaradaghi continued by stating that the Union played a crucial role in mobilizing the Islamic street and implementing a general strike participated in by people from several Arab and Islamic countries. He also mentioned other projects that will be presented in the coming days to support Gaza, involving major Islamic countries such as Turkey, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
The President of the Muslim Scholars praised South Africa’s stance on the lawsuit it filed against Israel in the International Court of Justice, criticizing the lack of support from a large number of Arab and Islamic countries for this step.
Al-Qaradaghi noted that the International Union of Muslim Scholars played a very important role in mobilizing the Islamic, Arab, and humanitarian community to interact with the Al-Aqsa flood process. He condemned the destruction in Gaza and the Nazi-like aggression of the Israeli occupation, reaching the stage of actual genocide.
The Sisi regime is accused of participating with Israel in the blockade of Palestinians in Gaza and tightening restrictions on them, despite its constant claims that Egypt has not closed the Rafah crossing and that the Palestinian side of it is effectively under the control of the occupation.
This argument, currently used by the Egyptian regime, has been exposed and discredited by Israeli lawyers in their pleading before the International Court of Justice. They denied preventing the entry of aid through the Rafah crossing and affirmed that the crossing is subject to Egyptian sovereignty and has no connection to the occupation, putting the Sisi regime in a major crisis.
