Watan-Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, spoke about the situation in Palestinian territories as the Israeli war on Gaza surpassed its 100th day. The Emir’s statements came during a meeting with the President of the Central Municipal Council, the Vice President, and members of the council at the Amiri Diwan.
Emir Tamim stated, “Our focus now is the Palestinian cause, and what is happening in it… This is a matter of principles, meaning there is no right or wrong or debate about it.” He added that the Palestinian issue is a matter of positions, honor, and standing with the oppressed.

“We are advocates of peace, but there is also a line that one must not cross, which is the killing and displacement of Palestinians… This, for us, is unacceptable, no matter how much we can do within our capabilities,” he continued.
The Emir’s statements on the Palestinian issue, particularly describing it as “positions of honor and principle,” sparked reactions on social media platforms. Many shared Emir Tamim’s statement, indicating Qatar’s stance on the Palestinian cause.
Martyrs, Wounded, and Missing in Gaza After 100 Days
In another development, the media office released detailed statistics on the losses of the Israeli war after 100 days. Israeli forces committed 2,000 massacres, resulting in 31,000 recorded martyrs and missing persons, including 23,968 martyrs who reached hospitals, 10,600 child martyrs, and 7,200 female martyrs. The media office also noted 337 martyrs from medical teams, 45 martyrs from civil defense, and 117 martyrs from journalists, alongside 7,000 missing persons, 70% of whom are children and women.
