Unveiling Israel’s Apprehension: The Impact of Al-Senwar’s Presence, Analyzed by a Jordanian Journalist
Watan-The Jordanian journalist, Basal Rafayeh, ridiculed the Israeli attempts to snatch any imaginary victory in an attempt to mend its humiliating defeats in Gaza. These defeats have turned into a nightmare for Israeli leaders.
Therefore, Israel is apprehensive about the name Yahya al-Senwar, “who sleeps while trying to predict his next strike, and wakes up hoping for his assassination or capture alive.” Israel envisions parading him in a square in Tel Aviv to declare victory after failing to eliminate Hamas, free the prisoners, and achieve prolonged occupation. This would leave the stain of the greatest defeat in the witnessed genocide present and future, according to Rafayeh’s description.

Rafayeh stated in a tweet on his former Twitter account (X) that received significant interaction that Israel’s dream of reaching “Yahya al-Senwar” means the impossibility of achieving any enemy victory. He added that even if it happens, “the assassination of Senwar fulfills his personal wish for martyrdom. He is not the necessary leader, the historical leader, or the falcon of Palestine.”

Rafayeh emphasized that Senwar is part of a cohesive leadership system, and his martyrdom does not delay a missile on a Merkava tank or the pulling of a trigger by a resistance fighter. Senwar’s life is a Palestinian tragedy dedicated to the will of the rebel against injustice and occupation.
