Real Madrid Bus Theft Scandal: Saudi Security Forces Make Arrests
Watan-The Saudi security forces released a statement regarding the arrest of four Saudis who bragged about stealing belongings from Real Madrid’s designated bus while participating in the Spanish Super Cup final held at “King Saud University Stadium” in Riyadh.
Several young men were seen recording a video where they entered a bus carrying the Real Madrid logo, stole items from inside, boasted about it in front of the cameras, and shared the footage on social media platforms.
The Saudi security, in their statement, mentioned that legal procedures were taken against the four individuals, and they were referred to the public prosecutor’s office.
Although the ownership of the bus was not confirmed, the emblem of the royal club was clearly visible on the bus.

This is not the first scandal in Saudi Arabia!
This incident is not the first embarrassment that Saudi Arabia has faced while hosting such events. Riyadh’s policies led to a breach of the agreement with the Turkish clubs Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray to host the Turkish Super Cup final, resulting in the cancellation of the match.

The decision to cancel came after the Turkish teams’ players returned to their hotels and refused to play the match due to the Saudi authorities’ refusal to allow them to wear shirts featuring an image of the founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
The Anadolu Agency presented a video showing Turkish fans leaving King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh and supporting their clubs’ decision not to play the Turkish Super Cup match.
