Watan-A Palestinian woman who survived the brutal Israeli attack in Gaza recounted details of some of the occupation’s crimes against Palestinian civilians. She described her own experience and that of other Gazans, who were besieged for five days. Whenever they attempted to leave, Israeli soldiers targeted them with artillery fire.
In an interview with the Lebanese channel “Al-Mayadeen,” the woman, whose clothes were stained with blood and who had scratches on her forehead and nose, revealed that she remained trapped with her relatives for five days.
She added, “Every time they tried to leave, the occupation forces fired artillery shells at the door to prevent them.”
On the fifth day, according to her account, Israeli soldiers entered the street where they lived and the parallel street. They began demolishing houses and destroyed a nearby house with a tank, forcing them out.

When she sensed that they were about to open fire, she moved away a little, and her son caught up with her and was hit by a bullet. She began screaming for him to be treated.
A cannon shell was allegedly fired at their location, causing the houses to collapse due to the explosion, with the iron door falling on her injured son. He passed away in front of her eyes, and she and her husband were also injured.
She continued to recount that the occupation forces then brought in police dogs, and they were expelled onto Salah al-Din Street while she carried her son’s body, pointing to his blood on her clothes.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Wednesday that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression on the besieged enclave has risen to 24,448 martyrs and 61,504 injured.
It clarified that the occupation forces committed 16 massacres in the Strip in the past 24 hours.
