Watan-Twenty-nine international actors have endorsed the accusations leveled against Tel Aviv in the International Court of Justice, in the case brought by South Africa, alleging that the Israeli occupation army committed genocide crimes in the Gaza Strip.
In a notable video, these global actors reiterated the reading of these accusations in support of the case accusing Israel of committing genocide in Gaza.
Prominent celebrities who re-read the list of accusations against Israel included Khaled Abdullah and Tobias Menzies, actors from the series “The Crown,” as well as Charles Dance, Carice van Houten, and Lena Headey from the series “Game of Thrones.”
They were joined by Israeli-born actor Adam Bakri, Jewish actor and activist Sean Penn, and actress Cynthia Nixon, who participated in a hunger strike campaign to demand a ceasefire in Gaza in front of the White House.
South Africa’s Lawsuit Against Israel On December 29th, South Africa filed a lawsuit before the International Court of Justice, accusing Israel of committing “genocide” in the Gaza Strip, which has been facing intense warfare for over three months.
On January 11th and 12th of this month, the court held two public hearings to consider the case in The Hague.
Casualties and Injuries of the War on Gaza The Israeli occupation army continues its brutal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7th of last year. The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported an increase in the casualties of the war until Thursday’s statistics, reaching 24,620 martyrs and 61,830 injured.
Gaza’s health authorities stated that some of the victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense teams.
