Watan-The Houthi Ansar Allah group has revealed its stance on its operations in the Red Sea following the United States and Britain’s airstrikes on Yemen, described as the most intense since the beginning of these attacks.

The Houthi military spokesperson, in a statement posted on the Ex platform, said, “The American-British aggression aircraft conducted 18 airstrikes in the past hours, distributed as follows: 12 airstrikes on the capital Sanaa and Sanaa Governorate, three airstrikes on Hodeidah Governorate, two airstrikes on Taiz Governorate, and one airstrike on Al-Bayda Governorate. These attacks will not pass without a response and punishment.”

Meanwhile, a member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, emphasized that these attacks would not stop the maritime operations carried out by the group against Israeli ships or those affiliated with Israel in the Red Sea.

Al-Houthi stated on the Ex platform, addressing Washington and London, “You are the guardians of Israeli destruction, and America and Britain cannot be protectors of prosperity because every corner of the world witnesses your destruction or your protection of destruction, as seen in Gaza or what you have done in Yemen.”

He added, “Your strikes will only strengthen the Yemeni people’s resolve and determination to confront you, as you are the aggressors against our country. The American and British must understand that we are in an era of retaliation, and our people do not know surrender.”

He continued, “We say to America and Britain that their aggression is not new, as both countries have been practicing this against the Yemeni Republic since 2015 until today. The aggression is one, and the criminal is one.”

American-British Airstrikes on Yemen

American and British raids on Yemen American and British forces carried out a new round of strikes in Yemen, targeting what they claimed were Houthi Ansar Allah group’s assets, according to Yemeni media. The airstrikes targeted several Yemeni provinces, including the capital Sanaa, Taiz, Al-Bayda, and Hodeidah.

The U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) stated, “Our airstrikes against the Houthis tonight are the largest since January 12th.”

Statements from the US and UK Defense Ministries

The Pentagon added in a statement, “The attacks were carried out by fighter jets, warships, and submarines launching Tomahawk missiles at warehouses and missile launch platforms.”

The Pentagon revealed the execution of 8 new strikes, stating that “these precise strikes aim to disrupt and weaken the capabilities used by the Houthis to threaten global trade and the lives of innocent sailors.”

Statement from the British Ministry of Defense On the other hand, the British Ministry of Defense said in a statement that Britain carried out more strikes against the Houthis in Yemen, and their attacks in the Red Sea continue to disrupt navigation.

The American-British airstrikes on Yemen have been renewed.

The statement added that British aircraft used precision-guided bombs to strike several targets near Sanaa Airport. It noted that 4 Typhoon aircraft joined the U.S. forces in the strikes against Houthi locations in Yemen, considering that the strikes against Houthi sites will limit their ability to threaten global trade.

Simultaneously, the Houthi group called on UN and international organizations in Yemen to evacuate their American and British staff within a month.
