Watan-An Israeli general praised the mindset of Muhammad Al-Daif, the military commander of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas.
Reserve General Amos Gilad stated in an interview with Israeli Channel 13: “The intelligence description is harsher than reality because, despite that, Muhammad Al-Daif seems disabled, but no one has said that his diabolical mind doesn’t work… Above all, he is a military genius.”
He added: “In addition to his diabolical mind, Muhammad Al-Daif has survived several times; we can describe him as a marked sign of intelligence.”
Israeli Criticism of the Continuation of the War
Voices within Israel have risen, criticizing the ongoing war led by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip, following its failure to achieve the stated objectives of the war, whether the so-called goal of eliminating the Hamas movement or retrieving the prisoners.
The Jerusalem Post newspaper stated that the Israeli occupation army is no longer able to achieve strategic successes in Gaza greater than what it has already accomplished.

The newspaper pointed out that witnessing 21 soldiers killed in one incident (referring to the resistance operation east of Al-Maghazi) reinforces the fears among Israelis that the number of army casualties will significantly increase at this stage with the army’s reduced presence and declining movement, making it an easy target.
The newspaper affirmed that the killing of 21 soldiers would strengthen the position of the wing demanding a deal to release the prisoners even without completely eliminating the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
