Emirates Leaks Exposes UAE’s Covert Operations: Mobilizing Mercenaries and Forming Alliances in Yemen
New Emirati Interventions in Yemen to Support Israel

Watan-The website “Emirates Leaks” has exposed Emirati movements in mobilizing mercenaries from Sudan on the western coast fronts of Yemen, in preparation for launching a military operation against the Houthis and supporting the Israeli occupation to break the blockade against it in the Red Sea.

The website quoted an official Yemeni source as saying that Abu Dhabi is mobilizing its mercenaries with support from Washington, bringing them from Sudan to Taiz in Yemen, specifically to the Al-Makha district, which is affiliated with the forces of Tariq Afash. It is expected that the “Southern Giants” brigades and Sudanese mercenaries will participate in the operation.

Sources explained that the ground military operation will involve air support against Sanaa’s forces and will include fronts in the governorates of Taiz and Al-Hudaydah, with military support (American, British, Israeli) involving air and naval participation.

These military movements occurred amid extensive coordination of military factions loyal to the internationally recognized government and the formation of a joint operations room with the aim of igniting the fronts in service of the Israeli occupation and attempting to occupy the Houthis who are participating in supporting the Palestinians by preventing ships supporting the occupation from passing through the Red Sea, according to “Emirates Leaks.”

The American-British coalition failed to stop Houthi attacks against occupation ships in the Red Sea, despite conducting airstrikes and shelling several provinces, seeking a wide-scale ground military operation according to the sources’ claims.

Will the Houthis carry out their threats to bomb the UAE?

The Houthis had warned in their statements against the participation of any country in any aggression against Yemen, affirming that any participating country would be within the target bank of the Yemeni group, and the response would be harsh and painful, especially for the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Arab diplomatic sources had revealed the movement of the UAE recruiting its mercenaries in Yemen to confuse matters in the Red Sea amid Houthi attacks against ships, which they claim are headed for Israel.

Abu Dhabi resorted to recruiting extremist groups, some of whom were affiliated with ISIS, such as Abdullah Shuaifan Al-Bukhari, nicknamed “Abu Al-Muhajir,” to launch attacks against commercial ships in the Red Sea with the aim of disrupting international navigation.

“Emirates Leaks” confirmed that a meeting between Abu Al-Muhajir and the UAE officer, Major General Ahmed Saif Al-Muhairi, was observed at the headquarters of the Saudi-Emirati coalition.

The UAE and the naval alliance against the Houthis

The United States recently formed a new alliance against the Houthis in Yemen, and although the name of the UAE is not officially mentioned in the alliance, Abu Dhabi is considered a key player in the Arab coalition against the Houthis and has been involved in an aggressive war on Yemen for years to serve its conspiracies.

However, the official Israeli channel “Kan” spoke about Abu Dhabi’s study of the possibility of joining the naval alliance against the Houthis, months after announcing its withdrawal from the joint naval forces, which included 38 countries led by the United States. Its mission was to protect navigation in the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea from piracy and terrorism.

At that time, the UAE did not clarify the reason for its withdrawal, but the “Wall Street Journal” reported in a report, citing American and Gulf sources, that the UAE was frustrated by the lack of a response from the United States to Iran’s seizure of oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman.
