Watan-“Ibrahim al-Riziqi,” the president of the Sudanese Journalists Union, stated that there are Israeli ambitions in the south of Egypt and northern Sudan, based on ancient Torah beliefs. He mentioned that Israel is currently seeking to implement these plans with the assistance of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), emphasizing that the collapse of Egypt would be a collapse for the entire region.
Al-Riziqi added, in a recorded appearance, that what is happening in Sudan and the movements of the UAE in the south of Egypt are part of the execution of an old Israeli plan.
The UAE and Support for an Israeli Plan to Weaken Egypt
He asserted that the UAE, involved in various Arab crises, serves as a complement to the Zionist role in Sudan. Furthermore, the UAE has ambitions in the gold mines and maintains close security and economic relations with the leader of the Rapid Support Forces, opposed to the Sudanese government, “Hemetti.”
Al-Riziqi continued, stating that the grand Israeli project, whether for the Greater Middle East or what is claimed to be “Greater Israel,” requires weakening Egypt from the south. He mentioned that even military planners in Egypt have stated that the real threat throughout the history of the Egyptian state comes from the south, not from any other region.
Access to the Nile
Regarding access to the Nile, he said, “If Sudan collapses, it becomes easier to weaken Egypt. If both countries weaken, the only qualified party in this direction is Israel, which will reach the Nile.”
Al-Zariki pointed out that there are ancient Israeli beliefs based on the Torah and Talmud about the importance of Sudan, especially since the prophet Moses is from the Nile region, and his story with Pharaoh took place in northern Sudan and southern Egypt.
The Collapse of Sudan is Prelude to the Collapse of Egypt
He concluded by saying, “All of this is a mix of Israeli myths and some American groups represented by the dominant American right that believes in such things.”
Ibrahim al-Riziqi, the president of the Sudanese Journalists Union, expressed his belief that there is a decisive moment in the world and the region today, where some entities want to reap the benefits through it.
The Sudanese journalist reiterated that the collapse of Sudan is a prelude to the collapse of Egypt, which will destroy the entire region. He emphasized that Egypt is the largest Arab country, a leader in confrontations, and has been a crossroads of civilizations throughout its long history.
