Watan-After 115 days of the destructive Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, and amid the Israeli occupation army’s claims of destroying the military capabilities of the resistance, the Al-Qassam Brigades launched a missile strike towards the city of Tel Aviv in response to the Zionist massacres against civilians.

While Israeli Channel 14 reported the launch of approximately 15 missiles from Gaza towards Tel Aviv, Channel 12 stated that at least 12 missiles were intercepted following the sounding of alarms in Tel Aviv and its suburbs.

Channel 12 mentioned that cars were damaged in the city of “Rishon LeZion” south of Tel Aviv after the missile barrage from the Gaza Strip.

Hebrew sources stated that the latest rocket barrage towards Tel Aviv originated from southwest of the city of Khan Yunis, which has been under a wide attack by the occupation army for days. This indicates that the range of these missiles is greater than those launched from the northern Gaza Strip.

Video footage showed remnants of one of the missiles that fell in the occupied city of Ramla.

Experts and observers stated that such rocket barrages would reconsider the calculations of the settlers residing in the Gaza periphery to return to their settlements that were evacuated at the beginning of the war on Gaza, following the resistance attack on those settlements on October 7.

Extraordinary Bombardment of Tel Aviv

The extraordinary shelling of Tel Aviv is considered a significant symbolic success for the capabilities of the resistance. It also complicates the political, security, and military leadership of Israel.

On the other hand, the Jordanian military expert, Major General Fayez Al-Duweiri, described the launch of the missile barrage from the south of Khan Yunis towards Tel Aviv, with the presence of five Israeli army brigades operating on the ground, along with drones and warplanes covering the city’s airspace, as extraordinary.

The last time the Al-Qassam Brigades targeted Tel Aviv was on the night of New Year’s Eve 2023/2024.
