“ولعت”.. The word of the martyr Aahed Abu Setta has become a “registered trademark.” The phrase has become inseparable from Gazans since Abu Setta became famous for this chant, serving as a means for Palestinians to express their joy at scenes broadcast by Palestinian resistance, particularly those depicting successful confrontations with Israeli forces in the southern and northern fronts of the Gaza Strip.
The shouts of Gazans in the streets, homes, and shelters are now accompanied by this chant, along with takbir (Allahu Akbar) and exultation, whenever they witness the launching of resistance rockets towards Israeli towns.
Gazans repeatedly chant this phrase whenever there is news of the success of Hamas and Palestinian resistance factions in ambushing Israeli forces in infiltration axes.
The owner of the phrase “حلل يا دويري” (Analyze it, Dwairy) preceded him in martyrdom. Palestinian youth Mohannad Rizq Muhammad Jibril, known for the famous phrase, was martyred a few days ago in direct clashes with the Israeli army in Gaza.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, released a video targeting an Israeli force with an anti-fortification shell in the “Juhar al-Deek” area east of the central governorate in the Strip.
After launching his shell towards the house where the Israeli soldiers had taken cover and hitting them, he celebrated with the phrase “حلل يا دويري,” referring to the military analyst Brigadier Faez Dwairy and his call to analyze his operation through the Qatari Al Jazeera channel, known for its daily coverage of the situation in Gaza.
