Watan-A stylish resistance fighter from the Qassam Brigades captured attention with his remarkable elegance and success in targeting an Israeli military vehicle after skillfully maneuvering behind it, indifferent to the course of the battle in Khan Yunis.

A video, broadcasted by the Qassam Brigades on Monday and widely circulated by activists, showed the fighter wearing a long black “baltha” and shiny white shoes, carrying a Yaseen 105 shell, running alongside the wall of a building.

The stylish fighter of the Qassam Brigades captures attention

The elegant Qassam fighter draws attention as a burnt tank is seen on the street, and another tank is designated as a target with an inverted red triangle, halted at the intersection of two streets.

The voice of one of the Qassam fighters is heard shouting, “Strike,” directing the stylish resistance fighter to quickly turn the targeted tank into a mass of flames and fire after circling around it.

The fighter’s attention to elegance, despite facing death and challenging war conditions, has garnered admiration and widespread interaction on social media.

The Palestinian Robin Hood

Nicknamed the “Palestinian Robin Hood,” some have dubbed him the “stylish Robin Hood” who confronts the occupation in full elegance.

In this context, Qatari journalist Jaber Al-Harmi described the video’s hero as the “stylish fighter” and stated, “One of the Qassam Brigades fighters wears a jacket in one of Khan Yunis streets, heading towards an Israeli army tank, aiming Yaseen 105 projectiles at it.”

The editor-in-chief of Al-Sharq newspaper added, “Qassam fighters fight with confidence beyond imagination, facing the enemy from point-blank range with courage, without fear or hesitation.”

Journalist Youssef Al-Damouki commented, “The most elegant fighter in the history of national liberation.”

Proud as minarets

“Proud as minarets,” activist Radwan Al-Akhras said about the stylish fighter, “He ran with full elegance in the streets of Khan Yunis, seeking his prey until he found an Israeli tank occupying land he loves. He stood proudly, unwavering and undaunted, and bombarded it with courage.”

He concluded, “They run despite the bombing and gunfire, surrounded by fires as if there is no fear or hesitation. They fight with weapons they made amidst the siege, so be their victory and woe to those who betray them.”

Tarek Ghurab exclaimed, “Stand proud like minarets… Send your bullets like a pouring rain.”

Afterwards, Tamer Qazeh remarked, “We’ve heard a lot about the legendary figure Robin Hood and his fight against injustice and tyranny, and now we see the Palestinian Robin Hood in his own attire.”

He added, “Today we get to know the Palestinian Robin Hood and his fight against the occupier and injustice in the city of Khan Yunis, replacing the arrow with the Yaseen… the stylish fighter.”
