Siege and Suffering: The occupation takes Al-Shifa Hospital out of service
Watan-The Israeli occupation army continues to tighten its siege on Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City amidst continuous artillery shelling and heavy gunfire from unmanned aerial vehicles.
Medical officials at the Al-Shifa complex report that the hospital has been taken out of service due to fuel depletion, exacerbated by intensified Israeli airstrikes targeting all areas surrounding the medical facility.
Warnings have been issued of a potential massacre by the Israeli occupation, as the lives of 39 infants in the intensive care unit at Al-Shifa Hospital are at risk due to the interruption of oxygen supply caused by Israeli airstrikes.

The medical complex administration reported that at least one infant has tragically lost their life due to the malfunction of nurseries and the interruption of oxygen supply. The newborn, weighing less than 900 grams, could not be saved despite rescue efforts.
Warnings have been issued that dozens of infants face a similarly horrific fate as the health situation there spirals out of control.
This comes as one displaced family in the hospital attempted to escape this dire situation by leaving the premises. However, they were ambushed by the occupation forces, directly targeting them, resulting in the tragic loss of lives from this family, even though they were waving white flags.

Al-Shifa Medical Complex out of service
In a related context, the spokesperson for the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, Ashraf al-Qudra, stated that the occupation forces are shelling everything that moves inside the hospital.
He added that the Al-Shifa Medical Complex has been taken out of service due to the Israeli army targeting anything in motion there.
Al-Qudra continued, ‘We are trapped inside the Al-Shifa Medical Complex at the moment, and there is a large number of ambulances in all directions.’
He noted the cessation of the intensive care and pediatric departments, as well as the oxygen supply.
Meanwhile, footage showed scenes of funeral prayers for the martyrs at Al-Shifa Hospital, while the occupation continued to shell its surroundings.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza has decided to dig a mass grave inside the Al-Shifa Complex for the burial of 100 deceased casualties.
