Watan-The Hebrew channel “Kan 11” revealed that after 115 days of the war on Gaza, 5 resistance fighters succeeded in infiltrating and approaching the Netiv HaAsara settlement, engaging in clashes with the Israeli army.

The Hebrew channel’s correspondent described the event, which took place near the Netiv HaAsara settlement, opposite the city of Beit Lahia, as very disturbing. A firefight ensued between the Israeli army and the five fighters, with 2 of them killed. The remaining fighters managed to withdraw and return to the depths of Gaza.

The channel aired exclusive footage captured by surveillance cameras in the Gaza Strip, showing the three fighters withdrawing towards Gaza after the confrontation with the Israeli occupation forces.

The Hebrew channel’s correspondent criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statement about significant progress in preparing for the return of Gaza border settlements’ residents to their homes. This comes amid the serious

event that occurred off the Netiv HaAsara settlement.

He also pointed out the rocket launch from Khan Yunis towards Tel Aviv, questioning the possibility of settlers returning to their homes in the border settlements in light of the recent infiltration by the fighters and the continued arrival of rockets in Tel Aviv.

So far, no Palestinian party has claimed responsibility for the clash between the five fighters and the Israeli army near the Netiv HaAsara settlement. Two fighters were martyred, and three returned, according to the Hebrew channel.

Beit Lahia, located in the northern Gaza Strip, is considered one of the areas destroyed by the Israeli army at the beginning of its ground offensive. The army claims that it is now under its control, but this attack undermines those claims.
