Watan-In a story depicting a real miracle, poignant scenes showed the rescue of the Palestinian elderly woman Naifa Barak from under the rubble in Gaza after being trapped for about two months.

The locals and rescue teams in Gaza managed to rescue the Palestinian woman while she was still alive.

Her nephew mentioned that they returned to the location of the house after two months of it being bombed, only to find his elderly aunt still alive but in poor health. The house had been bombed during the war, and upon their return, they found his aunt among the rubble. They succeeded in reaching her after hearing her cries of pain.

He added that after hearing her voice, he informed those with him that his aunt was still alive. They worked to clear the rubble despite her being under it for two months and four days.

He noted that his aunt is 80 years old and hadn’t said anything since the word “my daughter” (who was martyred in the Israeli airstrike).

He explained that a small couch saved her head from falling debris, helping her to breathe. It took them five hours to transport her to the hospital due to being fired upon by the Israeli occupation forces.

Deaths on the 117th day of the war on Gaza

The Israeli war on Gaza continues for the 117th day, with casualties and injuries continuing to mount in the ongoing bombardment by the occupation forces on Gaza.

Dozens of civilians have been martyred, and others have been injured in the continuous aggression on Gaza.

Six martyrs fell and others were injured following airstrikes and artillery shelling on Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip, coinciding with firing from Israeli helicopters and drones in the city center and west of it.

Meanwhile, dozens were injured in an Israeli missile strike targeting a house in the Al-Daraj neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Several martyrs and injuries were reported due to Israeli artillery shelling, airstrikes, and firing from Israeli military vehicles in various areas northwest of Gaza City.

Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes targeting homes in neighborhoods of Gaza City, specifically in Al-Zaytoun and Al-Rimal. Ambulances faced difficulty in moving to extract martyrs and wounded individuals due to the ongoing shelling and gunfire from the occupation forces.
