The newspaper stated that F-16 aircraft belonging to the Royal Jordanian Air Force took part in the American airstrikes on Iraq and Syria.

An American official confirmed the participation of Jordanian forces in the operations, stating that Jordanian aircraft joined the airstrikes after targets were identified. The role of Jordan was to show solidarity with the United States following the drone strike on Tower 22.

American planes had launched attacks on locations in Syria and Iraq in response to the attack on the U.S. base in Jordan, which resulted in the deaths of three American soldiers.

The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) confirmed the attack on its forces. The Iraqi PMF issued a statement confirming that its operational leadership and the armored battalion affiliated with the Al-Hashd Al-Tafouf Brigade in the Anbar province of Iraq were attacked by U.S. forces. However, they denied reports of the death of PMF leader Qasem Musleh in the attacks.

Iraqi security sources reported that the U.S. attack resulted in the death of three members of the PMF and two civilians, with 15 others injured.
