Watan-The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, aired new footage on Monday, claiming it depicts fierce battles they engaged in against Israeli occupation forces in the streets of Khan Yunis, which the occupation considers Hamas’ capital.
On the 122nd day of the war, Palestinian resistance fighters clashed with occupation forces in several areas in the cities of Khan Yunis and Gaza, inflicting heavy losses on them in terms of equipment and soldiers.
A video clip, captured by “Watan,” showed Al-Qassam fighters attacking a convoy of Zionist vehicles with explosive devices and “Yassin 105” shells.
The fiery ambush of Al-Qassam One scene depicted a fighter cutting a street and digging a hole in the ground to plant an explosive device in the middle of the road. Another resistance member can be heard saying, “We are now setting up a well-planned fiery ambush, with the permission of God, on the path of the tanks.”
He added, “With the permission of God, we will turn this land into fire for their tanks and bulldozers.”
Another scene showed a tank advancing on the same street, then transforming into a mass of flames and black smoke, causing the area to shake as its parts scattered.
A fighter was seen firing his weapon inside what appeared to be a tailor’s shop. A tank on the street was marked with an inverted red triangle, and in a moment, it met the same fate as its predecessor with a Yassin 105 shell.
Effects of dead soldiers Another scene showed the aftermath of targeting the convoy of vehicles, including unexploded ammunition boxes, a military backpack, unexploded cylinders, and parts of a tank scattered around.
A tank is spotted and targeted, suddenly turning into a flaming mass amidst cries of “God is great.” From the top of a building, a fighter observes a stationary tank, which is quickly turned into burning scrap metal in a matter of moments. Another tank parked at a street intersection in an abandoned area is targeted, and the shooter withdraws while shouting “God is great.”

Anti-personnel projectile bombs Meanwhile, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced on Monday that they targeted occupation soldiers with anti-personnel projectile bombs in the advancing areas in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Al-Quds Brigades added in a statement circulated by Palestinian media outlets that their fighters bombarded concentrations of occupation soldiers and vehicles in the vicinity of the industry and passports areas in Gaza City with rocket barrages and mortar shells.
