Israel in Horror as Hezbollah Missile Strikes Merkava Tank and Destroys It

Watan-Israeli circles expressed concern over the Lebanese Hezbollah’s release of footage showing the striking of a Merkava 4 tank at the Lebanese-Palestinian border with a specialized guided missile.

Hezbollah broadcast scenes of “targeting the Islamic Resistance’s Merkava tank at the Baghdad site belonging to the Israeli enemy’s army at the Lebanese-Palestinian border with a specialized guided missile.”

Notable in the footage aired by Hezbollah was the documentation of the tank’s targeting through a camera mounted on the missile that struck it.

Targeting of Merkava 4 tank

Commenting on the attack, Israeli broadcasting authorities considered Hezbollah’s dissemination of footage targeting the Merkava 4 tank with a guided missile to be a matter of concern.

They stated that the Iranian missile “Almaz” which struck the tank perfectly matches the Israeli “Spike” missile.

They pointed out that the Israeli missile may have reached Iran through Hezbollah since the Second Lebanon War.

Earlier today, Saturday, February 10, 2024, Hezbollah announced the targeting of an enemy soldiers’ gathering in the highlands of Aita al-Shaab with missile weapons, causing direct casualties.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for targeting the Israeli Baranite Barracks with missile weapons.

Hezbollah also announced its control over a Sky Lark enemy reconnaissance drone, which is in good technical condition.

Failed Assassination Attempt

On Saturday afternoon, Israeli planes targeted a car in the town of Jaddra in the Al-Kharoub region in Mount Lebanon, in a failed assassination attempt targeting a Hamas official.

The Israeli occupation army announced the execution of an exceptional operation in Sidon targeting a senior official in Hamas movement in Lebanon named Basel Saleh.

This is the first time this area, located about 60 kilometers from the Lebanese border, has been targeted.

A security source told Al Jazeera that two people were killed and two others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting a car in the town of Jaddra in the Al-Kharoub region north of the Lebanese city of Sidon.
