Journalist Ahmad Mansour Dies After Israeli Strike Sets Gaza Press Tent Ablaze
Strike near Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis kills two journalists and a civilian, injures several others amid ongoing Israeli war on Gaza.
Watan-Media outlets reported that journalist Ahmad Mansour was martyred early Tuesday morning after succumbing to injuries sustained in an Israeli airstrike targeting a journalists’ tent in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, on Monday. The same strike also killed journalist Hilmi Al-Faqaawi and young man Youssef Al-Khazindar, while several others were wounded.
Graphic footage circulated on social media shows Ahmad Mansour engulfed in flames while still alive, following the Israeli strike on the journalists’ tent near Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis at dawn on Monday.
Several journalists were injured in the attack, including: Hassan Islayeh, Ahmad Al-Agha, Mohammad Fayeq, Abdullah Al-Attar, Ihab Al-Bardini, Mahmoud Awad, Majed Qudeih, and Ali Islayeh.
This attack is part of the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza, which has seen systematic targeting of journalists, medical infrastructure, and civilian shelters, drawing international condemnation and raising grave concerns over violations of international humanitarian law.
