Watan-An expert in body language analyzed King Charles’ first appearance since being diagnosed with cancer, as he attended church on Sunday, February 11, 2024.
Buckingham Palace confirmed the cancer diagnosis on Monday, February 5, and the King issued a personal message last night (February 10) to thank everyone for their support and well wishes following his diagnosis.
The King appeared wearing a brown coat and carrying an umbrella as he arrived with his wife, Queen Camilla, at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Sandringham, East England.
After expressing his “sincere thanks” to the public, the King attended church on Sunday and seemed to be in good spirits. According to a body language expert who spoke to British media outlets,

Body language expert Adrian Carter said: “King Charles seems to be putting his best foot forward and showing the world that he is doing well. Overall, he seems to be adjusting well to his first week of treatment. The positive public appearance from the King comes just one day after he issued a thank you message to the public.”
In his message, King Charles wrote: “I would like to express my deep gratitude for the many messages of support and kind wishes I have received in recent days. As anyone affected by cancer knows, these kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement.”
He added: “As anyone with cancer knows, such kind thoughts provide the greatest comfort and encouragement.”
Meanwhile, the King of Britain is currently spending his time at the rural residence in Sandringham, East England, with his wife Camilla.
The King ascended the throne less than 18 months ago following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth.
