Israeli Soldiers Execute Palestinian Youth in Gaza Hospital: A Horrifying Crime of Occupation Brutality
A Palestinian detainee sent by the occupation to Nasser Hospital, then executed him by gunfire

Watan-In a horrifying crime that reflects the brutality of the Israeli occupation and its crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip, Israeli soldiers executed a Palestinian youth who was detained after being forced to go to the Nasser Medical Complex while bound, urging people to leave it, threatening him that if he didn’t return, they would storm the hospital and kill him.

According to activists, the youth, whose identity or name has not been disclosed for fear of people’s lives, returned after delivering the message to them at Nasser Hospital, only for the criminal occupation to execute him with three direct gunfire shots resulting in his martyrdom.

This crime is part of a series of extrajudicial executions of prisoners and civilians in the Gaza Strip over the course of the ongoing aggression for 130 days.

Footage showed the youth dressed in white attire resembling “COVID-19” patient clothing, his hands bound, and a yellow mark placed on his head. The youth arrived at Nasser Medical Complex and delivered the message carried by the Israeli army while his hands were bound.

According to eyewitness accounts, the Israeli army forced the detainee to go inside the hospital and convince those inside to leave, promising to return to them under the threat of killing a member of his family who was also detained with them. Upon his return from inside the hospital, the Israeli soldiers executed him with three bullets.

Israeli forces have imposed a strict siege on the hospital for the 21st consecutive day, with snipers targeting those inside the complex, preventing medical teams from moving between its buildings. There are approximately 300 medical staff, 450 patients and wounded, and 10,000 displaced people inside.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced yesterday, Monday, the martyrdom of 7 Palestinians and the injury of 14 others from medical staff and displaced people by Israeli army gunfire at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip.

The ministry’s spokesperson, Ashraf al-Qidra, said in a statement that Israeli army snipers besieged the hospital and fired at anyone moving in its courtyard, confirming that they killed 7 Palestinians and injured 14 medical staff and displaced people inside the hospital’s grounds.

It is worth mentioning that 14 out of 36 hospitals in Gaza are operating partially, including nine hospitals in the south and six in the north.
