Watan-Al Jazeera Qatar aired footage on Wednesday that it claimed to have obtained from clashes at Point Zero, where fighters from the Al-Qassam Brigades engaged with the Israeli occupation army in Khan Yunis.
This comes after Israeli media sources reported that the occupation army fell into a large and well-prepared ambush carried out by Palestinian resistance in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of more than 11 soldiers and injuring others.
In the circulated video clip, one of the resistance fighters appeared with his face covered for security reasons, stating that the enemy is killing civilians under the pretext of the presence of resistance fighters among them. He said, “We are present in areas completely devoid of civilians, and in the areas evacuated by our people as ordered.”
He continued, “This despicable enemy cannot defeat us as men on the field that he himself specified, and he is the one who ordered people to evacuate, and people evacuated.” He accused the enemy of being accustomed to killing innocent children and women in their homes with deadly weapons.
He added that Hamas fighters are still in their advanced positions, awaiting the enemy in the areas ordered to be evacuated to spare them death, as claimed by this enemy.
Explosion targeting an Israeli force
Another scene showed a resistance fighter preparing an explosive device equipped with a camera, labeled as seen in the video “TV bomb 3.”
Information accompanying the video indicated that the commander of the Israeli Reserve Battalion 630, a deputy platoon commander, and an Israeli soldier were also killed in the operation.
The resistance fighter heard at the beginning of the video saying, “By God, we’ll send them to their deaths,” received a wireless call from another resistance member informing him that the Israeli force had left the area, to which he replied, “They’ll come back, they’ll come back.”
A third resistance voice said, “We’ll send them delivery to Hell… Let Netanyahu help them.”
In another scene, two fighters were seen coming out of a tunnel and firing at two designated targets.
Bodies of enemy casualties were shown after being targeted during the clashes from Point Zero, and a resistance fighter inside a tunnel was seen firing his machine gun at enemy soldiers amid cries of “Allahu Akbar.”
The initial Hamas fighter shown in the video reiterated that if the Israeli enemy thinks it can dismantle Hamas, it is mistaken and has a long way to go. He stated they will dismantle its mechanisms and deadly weapons before considering dismantling Hamas.
He added, “Hamas is not a satanic weed but is rooted in this land and represents the aspirations of thousands from the Palestinian people and millions from the masses of the Arab and Islamic nation.”
The Hamas fighter continued that everything the enemy strives for is illusions and mirages, and this occupying army will be defeated. After the battle ends, they will realize they were chasing illusions, and this land knows its men, its beloved ones, and those who fight to defend it.
The Israeli occupation army acknowledged the deaths of two soldiers in battles in southern Gaza last Sunday. Israeli media outlets also reported that three soldiers were injured, two of them critically, in southern Gaza, from the “Maglan” unit.
The third soldier, critically injured, was a reserve soldier from the “Bani Or” formation command headquarters, according to Hebrew media.
