US State Department’s Human Trafficking Statement Mocked: Hypocrisy Unveiled
. A statement from the US State Department about "human trafficking" raises widespread ridicule.

Watan-Social media users widely mocked a statement from the US State Department on the platform X, addressing the issue of “human trafficking” and describing it as one of the worst violations that cannot be ignored.

The US State Department tweeted on X platform: “Human trafficking is among the worst violations, and each of us must play a role in ending it as we cannot turn a blind eye and remain idle.”

Users ridiculed the United States’ concern about human trafficking while overlooking human extermination, siege in Gaza, and discussing that they cannot turn a blind eye or ignore other issues like women and children trapped in Rafah.

The writer and former Egyptian official Ahmed Abdel Aziz commented, asking: “What is the difference between human trafficking and killing humans? Both are killing humans.”

He further criticized the US foreign policy and Washington’s approach in general: “You claim to fight the first (human trafficking), yet you grant yourselves the right to commit the second (killing humans) anywhere in the world.”

Abdel Aziz continued: “You are professional killers… We will not forget what you have done in Afghanistan, Iraq, Gaza, and even in Japan and Vietnam… You are enemies of humanity.”

Ahmed Al Awda also questioned: “What about replacing (killing humans) instead of (human trafficking), so you don’t turn a blind eye to what Israel is doing in Gaza?”

The occupation is the largest human trafficker

Another tweeter followed the logic of the United States, trying to show its humanity, which many see as fake and wrapped in discriminatory double standards.

He sarcastically said: “Very true words”.. then added: “Here is the following statement: Israel is the largest dealer of human organs taken from Palestinian prisoners, whether after their death or clinically, and does not return their bodies to their families but buries them in numbered graves to conceal its actions.”

The tweeter continued mockingly: “So, what will you do now? Or will you just ask us to fold our hands again?”

On the 131st day of the destructive Israeli war in Gaza, the occupation continues its policy of killing and siege, resulting in the largest humanitarian catastrophe in a small geographic area where hundreds of thousands are besieged in Rafah.

The Israeli war has left tens of thousands of civilian casualties, mostly children and women, and caused an unprecedented humanitarian disaster and massive infrastructure destruction, leading Israel to face charges of “genocide” before the International Court of Justice.
