Watan-A Palestinian young man in the Gaza Strip was surprised to find that his friend was the one calling for help from under the rubble. He rushed to rescue him and, with the assistance of rescue teams, managed to pull him out after several hours of struggle and hard work.
The young man was depicted in a catastrophic and terrifying situation, trapped under the rubble with pressure on his head and bones, in a sitting position.
Another member of his family was shown in an even more difficult situation under the debris, with only his head visible.
A video captured by Palestinian journalists documented the strenuous efforts of the Palestinian man, using basic equipment, to rescue his friend trapped under the rubble following an Israeli airstrike that destroyed the house they were in.
The voice of the Palestinian, whose face cannot be seen, is heard as he kneels before the debris left by the Israeli aggression, addressing someone under the rubble: “Be patient, my friend, I will get you out, God willing,” and he continues, “Your entire family is beside you.” He offered to give him an oxygen cylinder to help him breathe.

In another scene, the young man trapped under the rubble is seen between two blocks of cement, with his face bruised and his right hand twisted backward. His voice is heard saying to the rescuer that there are five of them, his parents, his sister, his little brother, and himself.
The rescuer addresses another person, saying, “Bring the oxygen and the pickaxe,” and asks his friend trapped under the rubble to stay alert. The young man reveals that there is pressure on his head and lungs due to the cement blocks above him.
The toll of casualties from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rose today, Friday, to 28,775 martyrs and 68,552 injuries since October 7th last year. The Ministry of Health in Gaza stated in a statement that the Israeli occupation forces committed 10 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 112 martyrs and 157 injuries in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, there are still victims under the rubble and on the streets, where the occupation prevents ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.
