Watan-American media outlets revealed that three children in the United States were bitten by “coyotes” in Central Park, Texas, last week.

A statement from Arlington Animal Services quoted by (Watan) said that these are the first-ever reports of such attacks in the mentioned area.

Aggressive coyotes were spotted attacking residents, instilling fear with their sounds and ferocity, prompting police intervention. One coyote was killed, and another was transferred to animal care centers.

One official recounted the incident when a “coyote attacked a group of residents in Central Park, prompting authorities to intervene and prevent further assaults.”

The police officer who confronted the coyote described the encounter: “It was an extremely unusual behavior that I noticed while I was there, and I may have encountered hundreds of coyotes in my career.”

The official explained that it’s natural for coyotes to be active in the area, but what’s unusual is for these coyotes to become accustomed to people, roaming the area, and sometimes posing a danger to children, as recently occurred.

A CNN report on the attack stated: “This morning, the same sentiments came out from all the officers and neighbors who were concerned about this type of coyote and its attack on children.”
