Tragic Consequences: Seeking Bread, a Palestinian Pays with His Life Amid the Ongoing Israeli War in the Gaza Strip
Watan-A Palestinian citizen from Gaza went out in search of a piece of bread for his children but paid for it with his life, in one of the scenes of the war waged by the Zionist entity on the sector for more than five months.
Al Jazeera Live broadcasted a painful video clip of the Palestinian, whose name was not revealed, lying lifeless beside a pile of soil, his clothes soaked in blood, while a number of displaced people gathered around his body, expressing pain and sorrow.
Al Jazeera correspondent Anas Al-Sharif, who filmed the clip, commented in a tweet on his “X” – Twitter account: “A very difficult scene of the siege and starvation martyr.”
He added: “In the besieged northern Gaza, the occupation forces allowed the entry of 800 bags of flour for more than 600,000 people, and during the gathering of residents to receive them, they were directly fired upon.”
In the past hours, images and videos have circulated of displaced people from southern Gaza lining up in long queues to obtain flour to make some bread, while the United Nations issued a new warning about the specter of famine looming over the besieged Palestinian territory.

The Policy of Starvation and Thirst
The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip stated that the occupation began implementing a policy of starvation and thirst leading to famine since the start of the genocide war it is waging against civilians, children, and women in all governorates of the Gaza Strip.
It focused more on the Gaza and North Gaza governorates, by preventing the entry of aid to the governorates of the Strip.
The office pointed out that “since 10 days until now, only 9 aid trucks have entered all of Gaza, urging the brothers in Egypt to immediately open the Rafah crossing.”
It confirmed that there are at least 700,000 people in the Gaza Strip suffering from famine that could lead to their death.
The government office warned of a global humanitarian catastrophe that could claim the lives of hundreds of thousands of children and women in Gaza.
