Watan-Al Jazeera channel aired new footage of the Qassam Brigades, stating that it depicts their fighters repelling attempts by occupation forces to infiltrate the “Zeytoun” neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.

While Israeli military vehicles were reported around the Salah al-Din Mosque in the neighborhood, engaged in demolishing homes, the Qassam Brigades announced that their fighters targeted a group of occupation soldiers inside one of the neighborhood’s houses, resulting in casualties.
Qassam Brigades Broadcasts New Scenes of Their Battles
A video segment broadcasted by the brigades and monitored by “Watan” showed the targeting of a tank standing amidst abandoned residential areas, turning into a mass of fire and smoke within seconds after being identified as a target.
Another scene depicted a Qassam fighter sitting and aiming a Yassin 105 launcher among olive trees, causing a powerful explosion in the vehicle’s body as a tank passed swiftly, identified as a target.
Bombardment of Enemy Gatherings
Subsequent scenes showed the Qassam Brigades and the Ansar Brigades bombarding enemy gatherings in the Zeytoun neighborhood. One resistance member was seen loading several consecutive shells into a cannon, while another inserted a shell into a launcher mounted on the ground, firing multiple shells at an unseen target.
Enemy aircraft attempting to evacuate casualties from the enemy soldiers were observed, with thick smoke and flames emanating from the targeted area.
The Israeli war on the Gaza Strip entered its 140th day amidst continued Israeli bombardment, amidst a catastrophic humanitarian situation.
Bombing of Civilian Homes
The Gaza government’s media office stated in an early Friday statement that the Israeli army committed a horrific massacre in the central governorate of Gaza.
The government media office reported that Israeli warplanes targeted four safe civilian homes, resulting in 40 deaths and over 100 injuries. It was noted that over 90% of the casualties were children and women.
The office also emphasized that famine is deepening in the Gaza Strip, home to nearly 2.4 million people, particularly worsening in the Gaza and North Gaza governorates, posing a humanitarian catastrophe.
