Watan-After the start of the war on the Gaza Strip, the name of the Palestinian Authority official Osama al-Ali – a member of the Palestinian National Council – emerged, bearing the task of attacking the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, specifically Hamas and its political and military leadership, holding them responsible for the destruction in the region, and absolving the occupation of the genocide that is happening against Palestinians there.
In an interview with “Sky News” UAE, which is accustomed to demonizing Palestinian resistance, Palestinian National Council member Osama al-Ali said that no one in Israel attempted to assassinate Yahya Sinwar. He considered that there is no interest for Israel in assassinating him.
Osama al-Ali: “Sinwar is an agent for Israel and October 7 is planned!”
Al-Ali claimed that Sinwar is “more of an agent for Israel.” He denied what was reported in Hebrew reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected plans five times to assassinate Sinwar to avoid war with Hamas.
The Palestinian official claimed that all of Hamas’ wars with Israel are suspicious wars.
He said that 99% of Palestinian losses in these wars were civilians alongside the destruction of Gaza.
Al-Ali also claimed that Hamas works with Israel. He said that Hamas provided Israel with a lifetime service by separating Gaza from the West Bank.
He said that Hamas was a heaven-sent gift to Israel.
He added that Israel exploited Hamas because the Muslim Brotherhood is the biggest enemy of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
He continued: “In the PLO, we are only opposed by Hamas and Israel.”
Routine attack on Hamas
Officials in the Palestinian Authority are accustomed to launching attacks on Hamas. Starting from the President of the Authority himself, Mahmoud Abbas, who described Hamas’ actions as not representing the Palestinian people in the aftermath of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation.
This statement was published by the Palestinian news agency “Wafa,” before it returned and deleted this wording after a wave of anger erupted following this statement.
These statements came during a phone call between Abbas and Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, during which they discussed the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.
The main “Wafa” report on the phone call included a paragraph stating, “The President also stressed that Hamas’ policies and actions do not represent the Palestinian people.” Adding that the Palestine Liberation Organization is “the legitimate and sole representative of the Palestinian people.”
However, hours after the report was published, the agency edited the statements to read, “The President affirmed that the policies, programs, and decisions of the Palestine Liberation Organization represent the Palestinian people as its legitimate and sole representative. And not the policies of any other organization.”
