Heartbreaking Scene: Palestinian Widow’s Desperate Attempt to Revive Martyred Husband
Watan-Activists circulated a heart-wrenching video of a Palestinian woman trying to revive her husband who was martyred after their house was targeted in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.
This comes amid the war, siege, and lack of basic medical care as Israeli aggression targeted hospitals in the besieged enclave, and prevented medical personnel from reaching the martyrs and the wounded.
A stunned Palestinian woman unable to comprehend the martyrdom of her husband
In the circulated video, the woman appeared sitting beside her deceased husband and pressing with all her strength with both hands on his chest several times, in an attempt to revive him, unable to believe his martyrdom.
Then she kissed him and said, “No, Sami, don’t leave me… No, my love… Hold on, my heart… No, Sami… Don’t leave me… O Lord, help me.” She continued crying, then turned to the people gathered around her and said emotionally, “All of you, get out.”
Al Jazeera revealed that the martyr shown in the video is named “Sami Qashqash” and was martyred as a result of an Israeli airstrike, and was transferred to Kamal Adwan Hospital.

The occupation continues its aggression on Gaza
The occupation continues its brutal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7th, which has so far left approximately 29,692 martyrs and 69,879 wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive destruction of infrastructure.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said in its statistical report today, Monday, that the Israeli occupation committed 10 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 90 martyrs and 164 injuries in the past 24 hours.
Some of the victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, with the occupation preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.
