Watan-The story of the American pilot Aaron Bushnell, who set himself on fire in front of the Israeli embassy in Washington in solidarity with Gaza, continues to dominate public opinion, amidst a series of revelations in this case.

A close friend of the American pilot revealed that Aaron Bushnell claimed to have secret information about the US forces fighting in the tunnels of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” in Gaza, just hours before setting himself on fire in protest against the Gaza war.

According to the American newspaper “The Washington Post,” the 25-year-old Bushnell said in a call to his friend on the night of February 24th that he had obtained an extremely secret clearance for military intelligence data in the United States.

The friend of the American pilot mentioned, “He told me on Saturday that we have forces in those tunnels, and that American soldiers are involved in killing operations… His actual job involves dealing with intelligence data, and some of what he dealt with was related to the Israeli conflict in Gaza.”

He continued, “One of the things he told me is that what passed by his desk is that the US army is involved in ongoing genocide operations in Palestine,” referring to the Israeli war on Gaza.

He added, saying, “He told me that we have forces on the ground, and they are killing large numbers of Palestinians,” and clarified that he was surprised because Bushnell had never violated his military clearance before. He explained that his friend had obtained security clearance four years ago, saying, “This is to my knowledge the only time he has violated the protocol and disclosed information that should not be disclosed.”

Suicide Idea Dismissed

The friend of the American pilot said he doubted that this devout Christian would commit suicide, especially since his pilot friend had previously told him that he was against such an act.

He added that when he learned of his friend’s suicide incident, which was broadcast live, “his initial reaction was that it couldn’t be real.”

Bushnell had headed towards the Israeli embassy in Washington, and upon arrival, he poured gasoline on himself and set himself on fire while shouting, “Freedom for Palestine,” repeatedly until he stopped breathing, as Washington police later announced his death.

American Military Burns Himself in Solidarity with Gaza

The Washington police announced the death of the American military member who set himself on fire in front of the Israeli embassy “condemning the genocide” in Gaza.

The management of the Washington DC police, in a statement, announced that the air force military member Aaron Bushnell (25 years old) passed away after setting himself on fire.

Before setting himself on fire, the American military member said in front of the embassy, “I am joining a very violent protest now, but my protest is not as significant compared to what the Palestinians are experiencing at the hands of their occupiers.”

Footage also showed one of the embassy police officers saying to Bushnell, “Can I help you?” and “Lie down on the ground,” while the other officer said, “We need a fire extinguisher, not a gun.”
