Watan-The number of martyrs from the horrifying Israeli massacre on Rashid Street in Gaza City has risen to 104 martyrs, according to the Ministry of Health in the sector.
The occupation targeted a group of Palestinians who were awaiting humanitarian aid in northern Gaza.
Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said that the martyrs and wounded from the Rashid Street massacre have been taken to all hospitals in northern Gaza.
He added that medical teams are struggling to deal with a number of critical cases due to limited resources, explaining that the majority of injuries in the Rashid massacre were in the upper parts of the body.
Al-Qudra called on the international community to stop the genocidal war being waged by the Israeli occupation, as well as to work on opening a safe humanitarian corridor for aid to enter.

Hamas’ stance on the massacre
In turn, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) called on Arab countries and the United Nations Security Council to hold an urgent meeting to make decisions binding Israel to stop mass killing and ethnic cleansing in Gaza, following the massacre committed by the occupation on Rashid Street in the northern sector.
The movement held Israel and US President Joe Biden fully responsible for the Rashid Street massacre, and for the escalation of the genocidal war and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.
The movement urged Arab countries to break what it called the “silence box” regarding the genocide being committed against the Palestinian people, and for the immediate implementation of the decision of the Islamic Arab Summit on November 11 last year, which emphasized breaking the siege and immediately delivering food and medical aid to the Gaza Strip.

The movement called on Arab and Islamic peoples, as well as what it called “the free people of the world,” to participate in extensive popular protests and demonstrations condemning the Israeli massacre against Palestinians, and to pressure governments to take effective and strong stances against Israel.
It called on the international community and the United Nations to fulfill their responsibilities and legal duties to stop this mass killing of Palestinians.
It also called on them to take all necessary measures to safely deliver emergency food aid to Palestinians throughout the sector.
