Watan-In the context of solidarity with Palestinians amidst the brutal Israeli war on Gaza, two siblings from the Swedish city of Malmo produced a carbonated beverage under the name “Beloved Palestine Cola.”

A video clip showed the Swedish siblings producing large quantities of the carbonated drink in a scene of solidarity with Palestinians.

Anger towards Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola was among the brands targeted by boycott campaigns organized by Arab and Islamic peoples due to the company’s support for the Israeli occupation.

Coca-Cola also became the focus of a new phase of boycott campaigns recently, as fans of the Egyptian Zamalek team ignited the stands with their chants against “Coca-Cola” during the Egyptian Super Volleyball Final against Al-Ahly on February 27th.

The Egyptian team’s fans singled out Coca-Cola with their chants due to reports suggesting an imminent sponsorship deal offered by the company to the team.

This comes at a time when Coca-Cola products are facing widespread boycotts in Egypt, as well as in Arab and international countries, due to their support for the Israeli occupation waging war on Gaza.

The hall echoed with the chants of the audience: “We don’t want a drink of blood, we’re continuing with the boycott.”
