Grand Mufti of Oman Criticizes Sisi’s Inaction on Gaza Crisis
Grand Mufti of Oman hints at Sisi's complacency and here's what he said about delivering aid to Gaza by air.

Watan-The Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalili, expressed his sorrow at the sight of children and elderly people dying of hunger in northern Gaza due to the suffocating blockade imposed by the criminal Israeli occupation. He expressed his astonishment at the Arab and Islamic nation remaining idle in the face of what is happening.

Sheikh Al Khalili said in a statement published on his official account on the “X” platform and monitored by “Watan” that the Zionist enemy seeks, through starving the people of Gaza and imposing a blockade on them, to undermine their will, despite their resilience, sacrifice, and support for the brave resistance and patience in the face of the aggression and corruption of this criminal.

The Mufti, known for his supportive stance on the Palestinian cause and his support for the resilience of the people of Gaza, continued, stating that it is truly astonishing that the blockade continues to claim innocent lives in the Gaza Strip without moving the conscience of the civilized world and its human rights institutions.

The stance of Arab governments is even more astonishin

He added, “What is even more astonishing is that Arab and Islamic governments remain idle despite having all the reasons for development and strength to defend their dignity and protect their sanctities.”

Sheikh Al Khalili expressed his appreciation for the steps taken by some to provide aid to the people of Gaza from the air.

Hinting at Sisi’s betrayal without explicitly stating it

He further added that the humanitarian situation necessitates, not only for the nation but for the entire world, breaking this oppressive blockade from all angles, subtly suggesting without explicitly stating that those who managed to secure airlifts should not lack the ability to secure land transportation.

Since October 7th, the Grand Mufti of Oman has been at the forefront of the blessed scholars supporting the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” operation, calling for support to the steadfast in Gaza, providing them with assistance, and rescuing them from the tyranny of Zionist aggression.

Al Khalili has been closely following the events in the Gaza Strip, intensifying the dissemination of supportive statements for its residents and their resistance.

The Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman expressed his regret for the state of silence and complacency exhibited by Arab countries and the international community towards these crimes.
