Netanyahu’s 10-Year Plan for Gaza: Insights and Controversies
Presence in Gaza for 10 years and the West Bank model and Dahlan are rejected... Details of Netanyahu's plan

Watan-The Hebrew newspaper “Times of Israel” revealed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan to stay in the Gaza Strip for about 10 years, during which the situation would resemble that of the West Bank.

According to the newspaper’s allegations, the mentioned plan does not include direct Israeli rule over Gaza, but rather remote administration similar to what Israel does in the West Bank with its clients in the Palestinian Authority led by Mahmoud Abbas.

Dahlan “will not set foot there”

As is done each time to market his name and present him as a desired or undesired party, the newspaper indicated that Netanyahu “will not allow the former leader, Mohammed Dahlan, to return to the sector.”

One of Netanyahu’s aides commented on the possibility of Mohammed Dahlan returning to govern Gaza, saying, “He will not set foot there.”

This is a new marketing tactic added to previous reports promoted by those sites to present his name as either an adversary to the occupation or an unwanted party by Israel, which is entirely contrary to that, as activists confirm.

Two stages in Gaza

The newspaper discussed two stages to achieve Netanyahu’s plan in the Gaza Strip, lasting 10 years.

The first stage, lasting two years, aims, as claimed, to eliminate the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas.

As for the second stage, it lasts “another eight years until an alternative government is established,” which is the post-war stage that is often talked about in Israeli and Western media.

The newspaper said, “Assuming the war continues for 10 years, the 2028 elections will also take place in the United States amid fighting in Gaza.”

During this period, the Israeli occupation works to maintain its continuous presence in Gaza, so that Hamas does not regain control.

Determination to continue crimes!

In acknowledging that Palestinian resistance is part of the people, “Times of Israel” stated, “There will always be terrorists in Gaza, and the state will have to continue fighting them.”

Like the West Bank

After that mentioned period, Gaza will become completely disarmed like the West Bank and under the control of a Palestinian Authority hostile to Hamas, supporting the occupation’s operations in striking the sector under the pretext of fighting terrorism.

The newspaper delved into the details of Netanyahu’s plan, described by activists as diabolical, which includes “continuous raids in Gaza,” similar to those carried out by the Israeli occupation army in Nablus and Jenin, and nightly arrests that will continue in Khan Younis and Al-Shujaiya.

For weeks, the Israeli occupation has been waging a brutal and devastating war on the besieged Gaza Strip, leading to horrific starvation crimes against children and women, especially in the central and northern areas of the sector.

The savage bombardment by the occupation has left tens of thousands of casualties, mostly children and women, and has caused areas in Gaza City and the northern governorates of the sector to enter into famine due to the Israeli army’s prevention of humanitarian aid from reaching them.
