Inspirational Resilience: Ismail Haniyeh’s Granddaughter Stands Tall Amid Gaza’s Turmoil

Watan-Activists on social media circulated a video of the granddaughter of the head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, Ismail Haniyeh, reciting Palestinian poetry urging resilience, while appearing among the rubble and displacement tents.

Many praised Haniyeh’s granddaughter for her outspokenness, noting at the same time that this appearance exposes the lies of the electronic flies brigades and Arab Zionists regarding the presence of Hamas leaders’ families outside of Gaza and leaving the Palestinian people to face their fate.

Ismail Haniyeh’s granddaughter steals the spotlight

Ismail Haniyeh’s granddaughter steals the spotlight, and the ten-year-old girl, Nada Haniyeh, appeared in a composite scenes of background shots of destruction in Gaza, filmed elsewhere.

She recited verses from a poem by the Palestinian poet Tamim Al-Barghouti, “We passed by the house of the beloved, and we turned away from the house, the law of enemies and its walls.”

She continued: “So I said to myself, perhaps it is a blessing, so what do you see in Jerusalem when you visit it? You see everything you cannot bear if it appears from the side of the path, its role.”

Haniyeh’s granddaughter concluded by repeating the words of the poem: “And not every soul, when it meets its beloved, rejoices… And not all absence harms it… For if its secret meets before the separation, then its joy is not secure.”

A large number of activists reshared the video posted by the girl Nada Haniyeh concurrently with International Women’s Day.

It is worth mentioning that several members of the family of the Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh were martyred as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7th last year, including his eldest grandson Jamal Mohammed Haniyeh, who was martyred along with his daughter during an Israeli shelling in November last year.

Roa Hamam, Haniyeh’s granddaughter, was also martyred on Friday, November 10, 2023, in an Israeli shelling that targeted the Baraqq school in Gaza.

The war in Gaza continues under tragic conditions experienced by both the northern and southern regions, while negotiations continue on multiple levels to reach an agreement for a ceasefire and the entry of aid before the month of Ramadan.
