Watan-Palestinians mourn the martyrdom of the “elegant fighter,” who gained fame when he appeared wearing a long black coat and launched the “Yasin 105” anti-tank shell towards an Israeli army tank advancing in the western areas of Khan Younis.

Activists revealed the identity of the “elegant fighter” as field commander Hamza Hisham Amer, also known as “Abu Hisham.” He is the son of the martyred Qassam leader Hisham Amer, who fell during the first Palestinian uprising and was one of the early pursuers of the Qassam Brigades.

The activists mentioned that martyr Hamza is the only son of his father and has one sister.

They noted that martyr Hamza Hisham Amer led the “Qassam Brigades’ death squads” that confronted the occupation forces’ soldiers and vehicles in the Al-Amal neighborhood west of Khan Younis. He relentlessly pursued the enemy’s soldiers and vehicles, successfully targeting several occupation vehicles himself.

The “elegant resistance fighter” captured attention with his distinctive style and his success in targeting an enemy tank with determination and steadfastness. He managed to bypass the tank, indifferent to the imminent risks from all sides.
