A Moroccan tweeter named “Mehdi” said on the X platform: “false news has become a current trend to distort the image of Morocco?”! .. “Abu Talal Al-Hamrani: a famous Gulf artist was arrested with 32 Moroccans!”.
He asked: “why is this systematic attack on Morocco?” And the distribution of an old news from 2018 turned out to be caused by filming a clip without a license, and published it as an event today.God damn anyone who tries to tarnish the image of Morocco”.
After the search, it seems that the news that was re-circulated again, concerns the Emirati artist Aida Menhali, who Moroccan reports said in 2018 that he was arrested in the city of Marrakech, accompanied by 10 people of Gulf nationalities, and 32 girls in a prostitution case.
Then, after the news about the case spread, sources close to the Emirati artist denied what was circulating about it.
