Watan-An American woman, a survivor of the brutal Israeli bombardment in the Gaza Strip, emerged to send messages to her country and its President, Joe Biden, amidst the ongoing horrific scenes coming almost daily from the besieged Palestinian territory.

Journalist Hani Abu Rizk documented the moment when the American woman, “Deborah,” was rescued from under the rubble after being targeted by the Israeli occupation and her house bombed in the city of Deir al-Balah.

Message of an American Woman from Inside Gaza

Almost daily, casualties and wounded individuals arrive at Al-Aqsa Hospital after the bombing of homes in Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip.

According to circulated footage on social media, the American woman was rescued after her house was bombed by the Israeli occupation.

In a tearful message, Deborah addressed all Americans and the Arab world, calling for action and support for Gaza.

The American woman refused to leave the territory despite the Israeli brutal war, saying: “As an American living in Gaza, I believe that all Arabs should be here to help, just as I am now.”

She added, “Because the occupation wants everyone to leave, I stayed because I don’t want them to take Palestine away.”

Will the message move Joe Biden?

Some users on the Facebook platform interacted with the message from the American woman, wondering: Will the injury of this American woman also shock President (Joe) Biden?

One tweeter commented: “Israel does not distinguish between anyone when it wants to satisfy its urge to kill. It kills you whether you are American or Palestinian, Muslim or Christian, a child or an adult. It kills you because it embraces killing as a religion.”

Since October 7th of last year, the Israeli occupation has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, resulting in more than 31,000 martyrs and tens of thousands of wounded, mostly children and women.

The brutal war and the suffocating siege have caused an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive destruction of infrastructure, leading Tel Aviv to stand trial before the International Court of Justice on charges of genocide.
