The sounds of the airstrikes were heard in the vicinity of the Shayah area near the Nasib border crossing with Jordan.
Meanwhile, the Jordanian Armed Forces reported detecting unidentified aerial movements over northern regions of the kingdom, prompting their aircraft to take off to identify them. Simultaneously, the Jordanian Armed Forces urged citizens not to spread rumors that could cause anxiety among the community without verifying information from credible sources.
Prior to the Jordanian army’s statement, various social media accounts circulated reports of warplane sounds in northern Jordan. Syrian media suggested that the airstrikes targeted drug trafficking dens.
Jordanian airstrikes preceded the entry of two drones
A knowledgeable military source in the Jordanian army informed Anab Baladi website that Jordan detected two unidentified drones about to enter Jordanian territory, prompting the Air Force to act to intercept them.
One of the drones crashed inflamed inside Syrian territory near the Nasib border crossing on the Amman-Damascus highway without causing any damage to the area it fell in.
The military source clarified that the drones were not attempting to smuggle drugs but were offensive drones coming from Iraq.
“Daraa 24”, a news website specializing in covering the province’s news, indicated that what was likely Jordanian aircraft targeted the border area between the Shayah region and the town of Nasib on the Syrian-Jordanian border without providing information about any damage.

Repeated Raids
Repeated airstrikes occurred on villages in the southern countryside of Al-Suwayda province, targeting drug warehouses in the area. These airstrikes often resulted in civilian casualties, the latest of which occurred in the town of Arman in the eastern part of the province, resulting in nine deaths.
From time to time, the “Islamic Resistance in Iraq,” a Shiite jihadist group supported by Iran, targets Israeli settlements with drones since the beginning of the Israeli war on Gaza.
Previously, drones launched by an Iraqi Shiite faction targeted an American military point inside Jordan known as “Tower 22,” resulting in the killing of three American soldiers and the injury of more than 40 others.
The United States responded to the attack with a broad bombing campaign targeting 85 sites inside Iraq and Syria belonging to Shiite militias supported by Iran.
