The Hidden Agenda Uncovered: Emirati Involvement in Gaza Aid Surge During Ramadan

Watan-The website “Emirates Leaks,” an opposition source, cited diplomatic sources described as informed, stating that there is Emirati-Israeli agreement and coordination with the United States to increase humanitarian aid to Gaza in exchange for continuing the war and destroying what remains of the besieged Palestinian territory under the pretext of combating the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas.

According to the site’s report, Abu Dhabi has reached understandings with Washington and the Israeli occupation to mitigate Arab and Islamic anger towards the developments in Gaza, especially the worsening famine during the month of Ramadan.

The sources indicate that the Emiratis, who wish to continue the destruction of the territory, pushed for Israeli approval in coordination with Washington to ensure an increase in the delivery of humanitarian supplies, including intensifying air and sea assistance to cover the continuation of the war.

Full-scale ground assault on Rafah

According to the sources, there is an Emirati-Israeli agreement on the need for a full-scale ground assault on Rafah to attack the remaining sites of the resistance factions and pressure for the forced displacement of Palestinian refugees.

The city of Rafah, located on the border with Egypt, where the occupation seeks Emirati support to compel Gaza residents to forcibly migrate to the Sinai region, thereby resolving the Palestinian issue.

Abu Dhabi’s aspirations to destroy Gaza

According to the same report, Abu Dhabi sees the complete elimination of Palestinian resistance as necessary and depriving it of any achievements, even if it entails further massacres and brutal crimes committed by the occupation in Gaza.

It is worth noting that a meeting between UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed and the CEO of the American World Central Kitchen Foundation, Erin Gore, took place, during which Abu Dhabi emphasized the need to continue efforts to alleviate the suffering of Gaza residents at the beginning of Ramadan without mentioning halting the brutal war.

This came about two days after a ship carrying 200 tons of food and relief supplies, in collaboration between the UAE, the World Central Kitchen Foundation, and Romani Cyprus, arrived in Gaza.

“Emirates Leaks” report claims to have documents revealing that the American step to establish a temporary port in Gaza was carried out in full coordination and support with the UAE, a step fraught with enormous risks for the future of Palestinians. It serves as a platform to implement the most dangerous plan by granting Israel the green light from Washington and Abu Dhabi to carry out the military attack in Rafah, the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip, where over a million Palestinians reside.

US President Joe Biden had announced that he would direct the US military to lead an urgent mission to establish a temporary port in Gaza, stating that the port “will be able to receive large ships carrying food, water, medicine, and temporary shelters.”

US officials have spoken about how the temporary port “will increase the volume of humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the sector with hundreds of additional shipments” daily, and that “the United States will coordinate security with Israel.”
