Watan-Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the arrest of the four individuals involved in the attack on the Crocus Hall in Moscow. In his first appearance after the operation, he stated that the four individuals were arrested while attempting to leave Russia towards Ukraine, noting the arrest of 11 people who aided the attackers.
He emphasized his country’s commitment to punish anyone who stood, planned, or executed this terrorist act, stating that March 23 would be a national day of mourning for the victims of the terrorist attack. He indicated the provision of assistance to all victims of the heinous terrorist attack on the Crocus Hall.
He explained that Russia faced organized terrorism, noting the tightening of security measures in Moscow following the armed attack.
143 killed in the Crocus attack
The attack targeted a concert hall in Moscow, resulting in the deaths of 143 people and approximately 150 injured. It was claimed by the Islamic State organization “ISIS,” while Ukraine affirmed that it had no involvement.
The Kremlin stated that the Federal Security Service is working to identify the entity colluding with those who committed the attack.

Attempt to cross into Ukraine
According to the Russian security service, the suspects in the attack planned to cross the borders and were in communication with individuals on the Ukrainian side.
