Watan-Hebrew newspapers and websites revealed that Yair Netanyahu (32 years old), the son of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is seeking employment and has been in contact with the Israeli consulate in Miami to work as a local employee.
Maariv newspaper and The Jerusalem Post reported that Netanyahu’s son left the country shortly after his father dismissed Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant in April 2023. Although the decision was revoked, it sparked massive protests against the government. In November 2023, Yair visited Israel and registered for volunteer activities, and he served his military service in the Israeli Occupation Army’s spokesperson’s office.

Yair Netanyahu served in the Information Analysis and Monitoring Center in the unit dealing with international communications within the framework of the unit’s military representation at the center.
Seeking work despite his lavish lifestyle
According to Maariv, Netanyahu stated in the application form he submitted to the consulate that he has extensive experience in “advocacy efforts” and “social media defense,” and he is interested in contributing to Israel’s “diplomatic advocacy” efforts.
The British newspaper Daily Mail published a lengthy report on Yair Benjamin Netanyahu’s extravagant life, which includes paying $5,000 monthly for a luxurious apartment, protection from Shin Bet guards, and entertainment with his friends using virtual reality glasses (VR).

Yair had previously described himself as the “Prince Harry of Israel” and lives in a two-bed apartment in Hallandale Beach, under 24-hour surveillance by armed Shin Bet agents who accompany him to the gym and swimming pool and when he leaves the towering building.
The Daily Mail described Yair as reckless and mentioned that he has always been a polarizing figure, receiving harsh criticism for enjoying a lavish lifestyle without any sense of responsibility, thanks to his family’s authority.
