Phrases written by Palestinians reveal Sisi's betrayal

Watan-With the Sisi regime’s reluctance towards the ongoing massacres and genocide of civilians, as well as their siege and starvation, a video clip from inside the Gaza borders with Egypt showed inscriptions where Palestinians expressed their longing for the days of the late President Mohamed Morsi, who showed many strong supportive stances towards Gaza and Palestine during his reign.

The video included phrases written on the wall separating Egypt and Gaza from the inside, recalling the stances of the late Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and his support for the Palestinian cause.

A scene in the video showed the phrase: “My country misses you today, my late Dr. Mohamed Morsi.”

“Gaza is alone today, my lord”

As well as a phrase from one of the speeches of the late President Morsi where he said: “We will not leave Gaza alone,” and the phrase continued: “Unfortunately, Gaza is alone today, my lord.”

The former Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi took supportive stances towards the Palestinian cause and provided Gaza with special treatment that respected resistance and contributed to breaking its siege and stopping aggression against it.

After assuming the presidency, aggression on Gaza began in 2012, and Morsi said: “Egypt will not remain silent about any aggression on Gaza. Stop this farce immediately, otherwise our anger will never be stopped by you, the anger of the people and the leadership.”

The video was accompanied by excerpts from a speech by Morsi at Fatma Al-Sharbatly Mosque in Fifth Settlement in November 2012, where he said: “I say to those, on behalf of the entire Egyptian people, that the price will be high for the continuation of the aggression, and the aggressor must bear the responsibility.”

“The Egyptians always love peace and never colonized anyone, but they have always been able to repel aggression and protect their land and honor. We are as we were and still are, but we are even more keen to be a protective shield for our Arab and Islamic nation.”

In his previous speech at the United Nations podium in New York, the late President Morsi said that one of the foremost issues in which the world should participate in every possible effort to settle on the basis of justice and dignity is the Palestinian cause.
