Unveiling the Truth: Hamas Leader’s Assassination Raises Questions

Watan-In the first comment on the Israeli occupation army’s allegations regarding the assassination of Hamas leader Marwan Issa, the deputy of Mohammad Al-Deif, the leader of Hamas’s military wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, the Hamas leader Ezzat al-Rishq said there is no trust in the occupation’s narrative.

Al-Rishq stated that there is no trust in the occupation’s narrative regarding the assassination of the commander Marwan Issa and the definitive statement for the Al-Qassam Brigades leadership.

The Hamas leader considered the timing of the occupation’s announcement of Marwan Issa’s assassination as a cover-up for Netanyahu’s crises and the failure of his army.

On Tuesday evening, Israeli occupation army spokesperson Daniel Hagee announced the assassination of Marwan Issa, a commander in the Al-Qassam Brigades, without any confirmation from the resistance.

The Israeli occupation army spokesperson said in a press conference that the targeting operation of the Hamas commander Marwan Issa occurred two weeks ago (on March 11th of the current month) in the Nusseirat camp.

He added that the targeting operation of the Hamas commander Marwan Issa was carried out in coordination with the Shin Bet.

The army spokesperson mentioned that Marwan Issa is the number 3 figure in Hamas’s military wing and one of the planners of the October 7th attack.

He pointed out that Marwan Issa was assassinated along with Hamas’s weapons procurement officer, Ghazi Abu Tama’a.

This wasn’t the first announcement by the occupation army regarding the assassination of Marwan Issa since the airstrike that the army said targeted the Al-Qassam leader.

No announcement has been issued by the Al-Qassam Brigades, either denying or confirming what the occupation army announced so far.

The US intelligence agencies contributed to the assassination of Marwan Issa. US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan had previously confirmed Marwan Issa’s martyrdom in an Israeli raid.

The channel mentioned that the Israeli army attacked anyone who attempted to rescue him after bombing the location where he was, after doubts arose that Issa was still alive under the rubble.

Palestinian reports spoke of the martyrdom of 5 civilians and the injury of 9 others in the airstrike that the Israeli army said targeted the leader Marwan Issa, accompanied by internet and electricity outages.
