Mohammed al-Daif’s Call to Action: Breaching Borders for Palestine

Watan-The military media in the Al-Qassam Brigades republished a brief recording of the Chief of Staff of the Brigades, Mohammed al-Daif, in which he addressed a message to the Arab peoples.

In the audio clip, al-Daif urged Arab peoples to breach the borders, directing his words to several Arab and Islamic countries, including Egypt, Lebanon, Algeria, the Arab Maghreb, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and all parts of the Arab world, urging them to start “advancing towards Palestine now, not tomorrow.”

Mohammed al-Daif, the Chief of Staff of the Al-Qassam Brigades, also known as “Abu Khalid,” emphasized, “Do not let borders, systems, or restrictions deprive you of the honor of jihad and participation in the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

He continued, citing the Quranic verse: “Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah. That is better for you, if you only knew.”

Mohammed al-Daif is one of the prominent leaders of the Al-Qassam Brigades wanted by the Israeli assassination list, with Israel offering a large sum of money for information about him.

Who is Mohammed al-Daif?

Mohammed al-Daif, whose real name is Mohammed Diab Ibrahim al-Masri (Abu Khalid), is the overall commander of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas. He has been arrested several times, and there have been attempts to assassinate him. He is also one of the most wanted by the Zionist entity since 1995.

He was previously arrested by the occupying army, and he was also arrested by the authorities of Mahmoud Abbas. The Zionist intelligence agencies, including the Shin Bet and Mossad, attempted to assassinate him more than seven times and failed. He was seriously injured in one of the attempts. The Zionist occupation killed his family and destroyed his house in one of these attempts in 2014.
