Watan-In what appears to be a heavy-weight surprise, reports revealed that security agencies in the Kremlin were aware of a threat from the D’aach organization days before the deadly attack on a music concert hall near Moscow.
According to documents obtained by a UK-based investigative organization, the Russian intelligence revealed that individuals of Tajik ethnicity who had turned to extremism by D’aach-Khorasan (the Central Asian branch of the D’aach terrorist group) might be involved.
The Center for “Dosier” (based in London) stated that the documents showed that “days before the terrorist attack, members of the Security Council (referring to the Russian security agency) received a warning about the possibility of Tajik citizens being used in terrorist attacks on Russian territory,” according to CNN.
The report added that even before the attack on the Crocus City Hall, a source close to the intelligence agencies informed the Dosier Center about this matter.
The Dosier Center is a Russian investigative group supported by Mikhail Khodorkovsky, a former Russian oil tycoon turned Kremlin critic.
This center has previously revealed details about Russian President Vladimir Putin and his regime, often using documents and leaks from within the Russian government.

America clarifies the nature of its warnings to Russia about the attack
In a related context, US Ambassador to Russia Lynn Tracy said that the information her country sent to Russia about the bloody attack on the music concert hall was specific, credible, and sent in a timely manner.
Tracy added that Moscow had requested Washington’s assistance in investigating the attack, saying that the United States “will continue to respond” to this request.
She continued, “Unfortunately, many Russian officials distorted the information and publicly refused to acknowledge the benefit of the information conveyed by the US government to Russian security agencies earlier this month regarding D’aach threats.”
Tracy spoke about the long-term duty of the United States to issue warnings about terrorist activities.
She pointed out that the United States “has been sharing information about threats with the Russian authorities for many years, and her country will continue to do so.”
