The situation escalated as they exchanged insults and profanity, quickly turning into physical assault with violent blows exchanged.
Some young men tried to intervene to break up the fight but to no avail, and the situation escalated as their friends joined the fray.

Jealousy the cause of the girls’ fight!
A security source confirmed to “Cairo 24” website that the incident occurred between a group of students due to jealousy of one of them towards her friend in one of Starbucks café branches.
The source mentioned that one of the students was sitting with two girls, one of whom was in a romantic relationship with him. The young man started chatting with the other girl and joking with her, which angered his girlfriend.
The source added that the latter cursed both parties, leading to a verbal altercation that escalated into a fight.
It was emphasized that the mall security management dealt with the situation without involving the police, and the two parties reconciled inside the mall without any further escalation of the dispute.
